The RF gap

Three wireless systems. One RF environment. One partner.

In most buildings, Wi-Fi, cellular, and public-safety radio were designed by three different firms who never spoke to each other — and the building pays for it in dead zones, duplicated pathways, and failed inspections. WZC engineers them as one RF environment, from survey and design through installation, validation, and ongoing support."

One headend, one pathway plan, one set of drawings: Wi-Fi, cellular, and public-safety radio sharing the riser instead of competing for it.

One riser shared by three wireless systemsA six-floor building section. Public-safety radio, cellular DAS and enterprise Wi-Fi run up one shared riser from one headend and branch to antennas on every floor.HeadendShared riser

One accountable partner, survey through ongoing support.

  1. 01 / Survey

Every system starts with a measurement, not an assumption. Public safety (ERCES): benchmark grid test against the public-safety radio standard. Cellular DAS: three-carrier cellular benchmark testing. Wi-Fi: predictive, hybrid, or AP-on-a-stick survey.
  2. 02 / Design

One predictive model, designed with margin rather than to the minimum, in drawings your AHJ, GC, and IT team can all build from. It works the same way for public-safety radio, cellular, and Wi-Fi.
  3. 03 / Install

The build follows the design, which is what removes change orders, rework, and failed inspections.
  4. 04 / Validate

Every system is walked and measured on site, then signed off against the numbers the design promised: the acceptance grid test, the carrier acceptance, or the validation survey.
  5. 05 / Annual support

Every year, WZC comes back: the annual ERCES re-test and AHJ report, the cellular headend performance check and firmware, and the Wi-Fi health review and re-survey after a fit-out. One schedule, one partner, every system.

Whether it is first-responder radio, carrier cellular, or enterprise Wi-Fi, the path is the same: measure the building, design with margin, build to the drawing, prove it on site, and keep it performing year after year. That is what one accountable partner means.

Public Safety DAS

Pass ERCES inspection the first time

Modern construction blocks up to 80% of public-safety radio signal. We design, install, and certify ERCES to IFC 510 and NFPA 1225 on UL 2524-listed platforms, own the AHJ relationship, then keep it passing under WZC Compliance Care.

Signal loss through a 7-floor buildingAn isometric tower with a below-grade garage. A donor signal of −61 dBm loses strength through glass, concrete, metal and the garage, leaving upper floors below the −95 dBm fire-code minimum. Why WZC

The install isn't finished until the numbers prove it.

Every ERCES provider will tell you they pass inspections. The difference is what happens before the first survey and after the certificate is signed.

  • Before the design

Most firms: Show up after the failed test

WZC: Surveys the building before the drawings are final, so the failing grid never happens

  • After installation

Most firms: Hand off and move on

WZC: Stays on the system: annual recertification, 24/7 alarm monitoring, and the AHJ file, under one compliance plan

  • When you call

Most firms: Route you to a call center

WZC: Gives you a named project engineer and a direct line to our service desk. No call center, no ticket black hole.

  • Design margin

Most firms: Design to the code minimum

WZC: Designs with margin, so the system still passes when the tenants, the furniture, and the rooftop units have all changed
