About WZC

Twenty years of RF engineering. Zero shortcuts.

Founded in 2006, WZC is a family-owned RF engineering and technology integration firm built around one principle: measure first, engineer it right, and stay accountable after go-live.

How we work

One methodology, every project

Every WZC project starts with measurement: a benchmark grid test or RF survey, a predictive model, and a design package your AHJ, GC and IT team can all build from. The install follows the design, which is why our projects do not carry change orders, rework or failed inspections.

  1. Survey & grid test

Site surveys, grid testing, and documentation of your environment: we measure before we recommend.

  2. Design

RF engineers model coverage predictively and engineer the system around your building, not a template.

  3. Planning & staging

Detailed deployment planning, staging, and coordination with your team to protect your schedule.

  4. Deployment & validation

Certified technicians install with minimal disruption, then validate performance against the design.

  5. Annual compliance & support

24/7 NOC monitoring, annual re-testing and recertification, and ongoing optimization long after go-live.

The WZC delivery loop, measured discovery through 24/7 support, on every project.

What we stand for

Built on trust, technical excellence, and partnership

  • Expertise

A specialized RF engineering team whose leadership carries 25+ years in RF engineering, not generalist IT.

  • Engineer-led

The people who design and run your system are the ones you talk to: a named project engineer and a staffed service desk, not a call center.

  • Reliability

24/7 NOC monitoring and support, so a fault is found before it is reported.

  • Reach

Nationwide coverage with local execution across the contiguous U.S.

Who we are

Wireless and low-voltage infrastructure is all we do, and we stay on it after go-live.

From rooftop communication towers to in-building DAS remotes, our engineers live in the physical layer, the amplifiers, antennas, and backhaul links that carry life-safety and business-critical traffic every day.

The same tower infrastructure our crews survey, mount, and commission across the contiguous U.S.

Our story

Family-owned. Engineer-led. Since 2006.

WZC Networking started in Novi, Michigan as a specialized RF engineering shop and grew into a nationwide wireless integration firm without changing hands. That order is the whole company: it grew out of engineering rather than out of installation, so the habit it began with, measure the building before anything is designed, is still the habit it works by. Family-owned since 2006, engineer-led, and still on the systems it builds long after go-live.

Headquartered at 24371 Catherine Industrial Dr, Suite 225, Novi, MI 48375, delivering nationwide with local execution.

  • We survey instead of guess, every design starts with real measurements, not assumptions.
  • We monitor your network around the clock, so we catch problems before they turn into emergencies.
  • We treat wireless as the life-safety infrastructure it is, from first-responder coverage to the Wi-Fi your operations run on.

Who's behind WZC

The people you will actually be calling

Engineer-led means the people who design and run your system are the ones you talk to, a named project engineer and a staffed service desk, not a call center.

  • John

    Co-founder, RF Engineering

John has been climbing towers and walking floor plates since before ERCES had a code section. He built the survey discipline every WZC project starts from, and still trains every engineer who runs one.

  • Nate

    Co-founder, Operations & Delivery

Nate runs the side of the business that shows up on time, passes inspection, and picks up the phone a year later. If a project has a schedule, a permit, and an AHJ, it has his attention.

The leadership bench

Four more leads, and none of them is a bottleneck

  • Director of Operations

Owns delivery across every live project: crews, sequencing, and the schedule a GC is holding you to.

  • Project Management Lead

Owns the paperwork a project lives or dies on: submittals, AHJ coordination, closeout, and the as-builts.

  • NOC & Service Lead

Owns what happens after go-live: the alarms, the response, and the annual re-test calendar.

  • Survey & Design Lead

Owns the front end: grid tests, RF surveys, the predictive models and the drawing set that comes out of them.

And the crew

The team behind every passed inspection

Field engineers, RF designers, project managers, and a 24/7 NOC. The same people from survey to sign-off, across the contiguous U.S.

Credentials that earn AHJ confidence

Procurement teams: certificates of insurance, state low-voltage licenses, W-9, and safety documentation are available on request, and we will tell you plainly which certifications we hold and which we do not.

Field technicians: we are always talking to vetted RF and low-voltage technicians for the dispatch bench.
